Mary Lee &
Gareth Campling

Are getting married

on 9th June, 2018 — Dublin, Ireland

Bride & Groom

Our journey started when a very jet-lagged Gareth decided to send a message on a dating app on June 8th, 2014 to a brunette bombshell. Mary made Gareth work for a date and didn’t finally agree to meet him for a further two weeks. Only then did Mary agree to a ‘quick’ drink at the Schoolhouse bar in Dublin on Thursday, June 19th. The following weekend to give Gareth all the right signals Mary decided to run away to a salsa weekend. The Monday after Mary with no make-up asked Gareth on their second date, a 20-minute walk to Ballsbridge. As with any good project manager, the scope expanded to include an Italian dinner (Mary’s favourite) a drink in the Waterloo (classy) followed by a late adventure of chatting and walking through Dublin city centre until 3 am.

The adventures continued, and on their 2nd year anniversary, Gareth took Mary away to the Cliff House in Ardmore reserved a quiet part of the balcony overlooking the beautiful inlet. Gareth got down on one knee and popped the question, and as they say, the rest is history.

Mary Lee

Mary, an Irish country girl, was born in the quiet countryside of Tipperary at the foot of Slievenamon however she always had her eyes set on the bright lights of the big city. She moved to Dublin to study a technology degree in Trinity College, Dublin and never left building her career in Dublin. Mary's passion for travel and dance has allowed her to salsa dance around the world from Dublin to Singapore and from Turkey to New York with many places in-between.

Gareth Campling

Gareth an English gentleman born in Kent and moved to the East Midlands at a young age. Gareth always had a massive love for technology and this shaped his life massively. When in 2012 he was approached about a role at Amazon in Dublin and decided to make the big move across the pond!. This new adventure enabled him to start his second passion for travelling around the world and experiencing new adventures. Gareth also enjoys nothing better than a day out watching rugby.
